With its 16" blade capacity (with scoring blade mounted) shops can cut up to 5.5" of material! Externally it offers a large 10' sliding table that rides on hardened steel guide ways with ball bearings. Internally this machine incorporates a massive cast-iron blade group, with a completely enclosed structure for lifelong durability.
The blade tilts using a large industrial screw, sits in a double hung trunnion mechanism, and the entire blade group rises and falls with the blade. Its controls are located ergonomically on the front of the machine with two hand wheels.
A patented design ensures perfect movement in both tilting and raising and lowering the blade, and also prevents pitch and dust from building in the gear system. The rip fence features a large steel round bar with heavy cast iron knuckle, and has a micro adjusting feature with a can lock to ensure rock solid positioning.
This 400 Series machine is extremely affordable, and offers the heaviest features for a very low price point.
