
The MATECIA Exhibition and SURFACES REPORTER Architecture Event are coming back to Kolkata at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan (BBMP), for 3 days of high-energy Business Event from 12-13-14 Feb 2027. Exhibitors gained from the activation of 100+ major towns & cities from 12+ states done by MATECIA in 2026, marking a significant milestone for the architecture, interiors, and building materials ecosystem of East and Northeast India. After the major success last year, 2027 is going to be even Bigger, Bolder and Grander.
Spread across over 2,00,000 square feet, the debut regional edition had brought together 150+ leading brands, architects, interior designers, developers, dealers, distributors, and material manufacturers, attracting an estimated 14,000–16,000 visitors from 100+ cities and towns across 12 states of East and Northeast India, including West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim. The show happened in entire exhibition venue and with massive footfall from across the states of East and Northeast showcasing both the rise of the region and the undisputed position of MATECIA as ‘The Mahakumbh’ of the industry, trade and design fraternity.
Together, MATECIA Exhibition and SURFACES REPORTER Architecture Event created one of the largest industry platforms ever organised in Eastern India, showcasing materials, innovation, architecture, and design leadership from across the region.
