Greenply Speciality Panels Expands MDF Capacity in Vadodara with Rs 425 Crore Second Production Line

Greenply Speciality Panels Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Greenply Industries Ltd and one of India’s foremost interior infrastructure companies, has officially broken ground on a second Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) production line at its manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. The development represents a landmark moment in the company’s growth trajectory and reflects its ongoing commitment to expanding domestic manufacturing capabilities in response to the surging demand for MDF products across the country. The new production line represents a capital investment of Rs 425 crore and is expected to be operational by the second quarter of FY2028. Beyond boosting production capacity, the expansion is anticipated to generate meaningful employment across the value chain, contributing to livelihoods and stimulating economic activity in the region. Once commissioned, the additional line will considerably strengthen Greenply’s ability to meet growing market demand while consolidating its leadership position within the MDF segment. The Vadodara expansion forms part of the company’s broader long-term strategy to build advanced manufacturing infrastructure, enhance operational readiness and further develop its MDF product portfolio for the future.
