Hafele offers Seamless Security with Elegant Design through its Kabi-Net Digital Locks

FDT Bureau

Hafele recently introduced a practical and effective solution through its Kabi-Net Digital Locks Range. These compact locks, operated using fingerprints, provide convenience and peace of mind. They feature a three-colour status indicator to inform users of the lock’s current state and battery status. The Kabi-Net Digital Locks Range includes four models, namely, Kabi-Block, Kabi-Orb, Kabi-Iris and Kabi-Slim, each combining security with elegant design. Know more about it on FURNITURE DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY (FDT).

The Kabi-Block Digital Lock offers secure biometric access for drawers, cabinets and wardrobes. It features a three-colour LED indicator to update the lock status and alert users if the battery is low. The lock also includes an emergency key unique to the lock and an auto-locking function for enhanced safety. Its clean design makes it intuitive and easy to operate.

Kabi-Orb serves as both a pull knob and a digital lock, offering unmatched convenience. It provides secure biometric access, an emergency key, an auto-locking function and a three-colour LED status indicator. Available in matte black, gun metal and rose gold finishes, Kabi-Orb complements various interior themes.

The eye-shaped Kabi-Iris offers a modern and distinctive look for cabinets and drawers. It features biometric fingerprint access, an emergency key and a three-colour LED status indicator. These locks can also be used as pull knobs, reducing the need for additional accessories and enhancing aesthetics. Available in black matte and rose gold finishes, Kabi-Iris suits premium interiors.

The Kabi-Slim boasts a flush-mounted design for seamless aesthetics, ideal for modern interiors. It offers flexible operation in auto or manual locking modes. A three-colour ring status indicator around the fingerprint sensor communicates the lock status and alerts users if the batteries are low.
