American furniture brand Aguirre recently unveiled the Samba dining chair, a creation by their creative director, David Aguirre, who has designed it to blend elegance with a striking presence. The chair is crafted from cast fibreglass, featuring a sculptural design that sets it apart, especially with its distinctive backrest. The backrest is characterized by horizontal bars that radiate from both the middle and the top of a central spine, adding a unique architectural element to the piece. The Samba dining chair is available in three sophisticated colours, black, beige and green, and comes in size 533.4 mm x 527.05 mm x 990.6 mm. It boasts a square seat with rounded cutouts between the legs, which flare out towards the base, offering both visual interest and stability. The seat can be customized with a range of tactile fabrics, enhancing its versatility and comfort. Part of Aguirre’s Ode to Nature collection, the Samba aims to harmonize organic shapes with contemporary materials, reflecting Aguirre’s vision of integrating the serene beauty of nature into modern living spaces.
