Sheela Foam Ltd is reportedly in talks to acquire furniture rental startup Furlenco. The equity and debt of Furlenco are pegged at Rs 500 crore. Reports suggest, Furlenco, which counts Lightbox Ventures and Zinnia Global Fund among its backers, has been scouting for financial investors for a while. With discussions believed to be at an advanced stage, the announcement is likely to happen soon. The strategic step comes as the brand looks to expand into newer business categories.
