Ar. Shirish Beri, (Founder and Principal of Shirish Beri and Associates) was the Chief Guest of the event. He along with Ar Parul Zaveri, (Co-Founder, Abhikram) Ar Abhay Purohit (President, Council of Architecture), Ar James Law (CEO, Cybertecture), Dr Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi (Founder & President, NAREDCO MAHI) and Vertica Dvivedi (Founder, WADE INDIA) inaugurated the event.

Wade Designs India Architecture Conference

Beyond the knowledge sessions, a couple of standout talks & presentations stole the spotlight. Ar James Law, CEO of Cybertecture (HongKong), delivered an intriguing talk titled “The Future of Architecture.” Additionally, Ar Sonali Rastogi, the Founding Partner at Morphogenesis, shared insights about the highly coveted “Surat Diamond Bourse” project in her keynote address. These captivating presentations generated significant interest and intrigue.

MERINO was the presenting partner of the WADE DESIGNS INDIA Conference. Mr Madhusudhan Lohia and Mr Govind Mundra from MERINO GROUP presented the Speakers Mementos. MERINO and WADE INDIA resonate with their common goal of engaging the design fraternity with the right knowledge & insights.

There were more than 50 speakers, 150 jurors, 450 special guests and 3500+ delegates and more than 15000 architects & designers who have attended WADE INDIA and its concurrent events.

The two days of knowledge sessions included WADE’s signature panel discussions WADE INDIA Women in Design, Couple as Partners in life and work, Business Intelligence in Design - Scaling up, Management & Finance, Masterclass with Mentors and the WADE ASIA Change Makers. The other two sessions were equally noteworthy. “Ways Women Lead” assembled an extraordinary panel of pioneering women in the realms of architecture, design, and associated fields, showcasing their remarkable leadership journeys and contributions. Furthermore, “Creating a Universally Accessible Built Environment for Tomorrow’s India” cast a luminous vision on the path towards a more inclusive and accessible future in urban planning and design.

Wade Archidesign Competition 2023

WADE ARCHIDESIGN COMPETITION 2023 received over 1150 nominations across different categories. Post the initial short listing, 200+ live presentations of shortlisted projects were presented before the 150+ jury members seated in 7 Rooms across different halls at the event. These Top Projects were from some of India’s Best Buildings and Interiors in the categories of Residential, Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Façade Design, Healthy & Safe Interiors, Best use of Colour, Best use of Lighting, and more.

Wade Asia Awards 2023

Through WADE ArchiDesign Competition, after a meticulous short listing across varied parameters and then LIVE presentations and rounds of questions & answers, more than 50 women architects and designers were commemorated with the WADE ASIA Award across 26 categories.

It celebrated form and function while simultaneously shaping the future of these industries, inspiring collaboration, and fueling the ambitions of tomorrow’s design leaders. Known for being the largest award platform for women in design & architecture in the world, the prestigious WADE ASIA Awards 2023 served as the crowning jewel of this extraordinary gathering - a testament to its role in honoring the women in architecture and design through stringent competition and providing a mega national platform for spreading their wings.
