The Fleur Home 

A furniture piece I really love and used recently for a project is the dining table customized for ‘The Fleur Home.’ The USP of this home is Indian artifacts and accents with whiteon- white details, balanced with differences in textures, materials, and pops of colour. The dining table has a wooden trestle-style base made with teak wood and customized in a factory in Hyderabad. The tabletop has been crafted in Rajasthan, it consits of a white marble base with precious stone inlays. Hummingbirds and flowers have been inlaid in shades of orange, peach, green, and blue to create an intricate pattern, adding a subtle pop of color in the dining area. The dining table is flanked with cane chairs and a bench that complements a black-and-white hand-drawn floral artwork on the wall.

The Wicker Swing by Theinsideprojects

The Zephyr House, located in Pune, is a reflection of the state of mind of our clients, who are senior citizens — calm and serene. Their home is where they wish to unwind, relax, and ponder over memorable and cherished moments of their life. The wicker swing by THEINSIDEPROJECTS is one such quintessential element that blends seamlessly into their home, created taking inspiration from the colors of nature—sky and oceans. Its neutral and textural quality gives the deck a unique character. Created using handcrafted and sustainable materials, it has been suspended using ropes. The cushion upholstery by ALTROVE adds warmth to this piece that sits comfortably between plants. With the city’s pleasant weather throughout the year, this swing is their favorite recreation spot.

The Customized Home Bar

The customized home bar, as a furniture piece in this setting, is a sophisticated and contemporary element. It features a sleek, semicircular design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The countertop is crafted from polished wood with rich, warm tones and nice white marble, providing a smooth and inviting surface for serving drinks. This wood-marble counter bar is circumferenced within a darker metal frame with LED lights to complement a modern aesthetic. Clean lines and a circular form in this semi-outdoor space invite conversation. For functionality, a raised built-in shelf that is visible on the inner side makes it appear multi-dimensional, while a cabinet below can store bar essentials. The bar’s minimalist and elegant design aligns well with the luxurious and contemporary style of the space.

The living room table

The living room tables are a few of many bespoke pieces designed by Sachin and myself as part of the interior design of a luxury residence in Mumbai. The center table and two side tables resemble an inverted pyramid. To maintain consistency of material, the center table is made using Patagonia marble that is on the TV wall. I paired it with dull gold metallic PU to create a fluid pattern and also to balance out the weight. The table has drawers on two opposite sides enabling storage for magazines and remotes, leaving the tabletop clutter-free. The inverted pyramid of the side tables is suspended within a glossy gold metal frame. The fluid pattern has been artistically achieved using resin in bright colors to offset the muted tones of the living room, which is elegant and unique.
