Swedish studio Form Us With Love recently collaborated with Scandinavian brand Savo to introduce Spine, an office chair designed for endless reconfiguration. Revealed at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Spine features modular components, allowing customization for various tasks and work environments. Its name derives from the vertical spine-like column rising from the seat, enabling attachment of modular parts like back and neck supports. Know more about it on FURNITURE DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY (FDT).
According to the team, Spine breaks away from conventional office chair designs, offering style and functionality. With options for different materials and colours, Spine seamlessly transitions from neutral to standout, fitting any space. This innovative chair isn’t limited to solo work; it adapts to collaborative environments, reflecting modern workplaces’ evolving nature. As per the team, the chair contributes to tomorrow’s adaptable workplaces, foreseeing it as a pioneer in hybrid furniture.
Available in standard and high versions with a footrest, Spine is envisioned for diverse office or studio settings, providing a cohesive aesthetic with easy adaptability. Its modular design ensures simple repairs or part replacements, promising longevity and sustainability in the workplace.
